about
Hannah Madsen, lmft
Hello—My name is Hannah, I am the owner and therapist at Wildflower Therapy & Wellness. I’m so happy you’re here!
If you’re like the hundreds of people I’ve worked with you may be feeling self-doubt, anxiety, overwhelm, loss of identity, conflict in relationships, loss of intimacy, and loneliness. Disconnection from our emotions, experiences, physical responses, and relationships can be incredibly troubling. In an individual or relational setting we can collaborate to create a therapeutic space that allows you to explore these experiences and develop a better understanding of the tools you already possess to reach outcomes you are seeking.
I specialize in providing an Attachment and Somatic Based approach to treating anxiety, developmental trauma, relational distress, and loss of identity. My training includes a Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, 60 hour certification in providing Somatic Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed treatment for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

What to expect
From our first consultation, my goal is to create a collaborative space focused on your needs. During the intake, we'll explore what you want to achieve in therapy and develop a resilience-based treatment plan that highlights your strengths and desired changes.
In your second and possibly third session, we'll dive into your family and relationship history. My approach combines Somatic, Attachment, and Systemic methods, recognizing that our well-being is shaped by broader factors like political, socioeconomic, and cultural influences. Understanding these external impacts is key to providing comprehensive mental health care.
Ongoing sessions aim to build a nurturing, and at times challenging space where you can reconnect with voice, choice, and body. Ultimately, I believe that you are the expert on yourself and will encourage your self-advocacy in each session. By leading your own healing, you will likely find greater clarity, empowerment, and growth.
